The original headlight on the Bear 650 is large, bulky and overly modern. But why keep chasing modern design?

Be like the riders of the past. Like Eddie Mulder – the young racer who arrived at the legendary Big Bear Run without an official race number. So he painted a question mark on his jacket and entered the race anyway. A race that would ultimately change his life forever.

This front desert plate replaces the oversized stock headlight and takes inspiration from the minimalist racing scramblers of the 1950s. It is designed to fit the front of the motorcycle perfectly – lightweight, functional and true to the spirit of classic racing plates.

We equipped it with a compact halogen-style lamp that delivers the correct vintage appearance and the clean circular shape typical of post-war British competition motorcycles. Inside, you will find a yellow LED bulb, combining classic aesthetics with modern reliability.

Behind the plate sits an integrated electrical box that keeps all wiring and electronic modules hidden, securely mounted and protected from mud, dust and impacts.

The desert plate also functions as a mounting point for the front turn indicators.

And if you ever decide to return the motorcycle to its original setup, the racing plate can be simply removed and replaced with the stock headlight again.

Turn Signal Mounting Hole Options

This part is available with two different mounting hole diameters, depending on the type of turn signals you want to use.

M6 mounting holes are mainly designed for premium compact turn signals such as Kellermann indicators.

M8 mounting holes fit most universal aftermarket turn signals, including our Gas & Oil Bullet turn signals.
