The Royal Enfield Bear draws its identity from the legendary Big Bear Run, one of the desert races where the true spirit of the scrambler was born. It was here, in the 1960s, that a young Eddie Mulder made his name. Unable to obtain an official race number, he painted a question mark on his jacket and lined up at the start. The question mark became a symbol of uncertainty about the outcome, but absolute certainty in determination.

RAWBEARY was created with a simple goal: to bring the Bear closer to the atmosphere of those early desert races. To simplify its lines, reduce visual weight and give it the purposeful character of a true racing scrambler.

The oversized factory headlight and plastic bodywork have been replaced with a minimalist Desert Plate and compact headlamp assembly. The rear section has been cleaned up to emphasize the motorcycle’s natural proportions and timeless elegance.

Details play a crucial role throughout the build. A custom paint scheme, hand-painted gold pinstriping and a handcrafted leather seat inspired by period racing motorcycles connect modern functionality with the soul of the machines that once raced through the dust of the Californian desert.

The result is RAWBEARY — a motorcycle that looks as though it could be waiting on the starting line of the Big Bear Run. A modern interpretation of a machine that combines racing determination with timeless style.

Paintwork

Navarra Blue

Seat

The original seat was redesigned to improve both appearance and comfort.
